Police Seeking Suspect for Chestnut Hill Fraud Case

The Northwest Detective division is looking for a female in connection with stolen credit cards.

Northwest Detective Division is looking for a woman who is suspected of committing fraud with credit cards stolen from Chestnut Hill.

According to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department, a man reported having a wallet with credit cards and identification stolen from his car while it was parked on the 7600 block of Crittenden Street. The car was parked at that location from May 22, 6:45 p.m. until 7:20 a.m. the next morning.

On May 23, between 1 and 6:30 a.m., a woman was caught on surveillance at several locations using the cards that were reported stolen, police said. The woman is described as 30-40 years old, medium complexion, with a stocky build and walking with a slight limp. Attached is the surveillance video released by police.
