Police Seek Help in Identifying Burglar

Police are searching for a man who broke into a day care early Monday morning.

Police of the 14th District in Philadelphia want help in identifying a man who broke into a day care center on Germantown Ave. on April 7.

According to police, surveillance video captured a man breaking into the Kids Are Fit Day Care Center located at 6110 Germantown Ave. at 6:25 a.m.

Once inside the man took a desktop touch-screen computer and then fled south on Germantown Ave, police say.

Black male, late teens to early twenty years-of-age, medium complexion, beard with mustache and side-burns, various tattoos on his face, neck and on the back of his hands, wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt with white draw strings, gray cargo pants, bright red sneakers and carrying a tan shoulder bag.
