Police Seek Germantown Ave. Attacker

Police are looking for a man who attacked and robbed a man on Germantown Avenue.

Police need the public’s help in identifying a man who beat and robbed a 37-year-old man in the 6100 block of Germantown Avenue on Sept. 10.

Surveillance footage shows the victim riding his bicycle north on Germantown Avenue at 1:40 a.m.

At this time, another man approaches the victim and knocks him off his bicycle.

Once the victim is on the ground, the attacker begins to punch the victim repeatedly in the face. 

The attacker then takes the victim’s cell phone, wallet, trans-pass, work identification, backpack and a white mountain bike with the name David written on it.

The attacker then used the bicycle to flee south on Germantown Avenue.

Black male, 20 years-of-age, medium build, wearing a red t-shirt with white lettering, dark colored jeans and white sneakers.
