Police Release Photo of Shell Station Robbery

The robbery occurred July 16, shortly before 10 p.m.

Police are asking for assistance in identifying the man who at 8019 Germantown Avenue Saturday, July 16. They release a photo of the suspect, seen above.

The suspect is described by police as a black male, 30 to 35 years old, 5"10-6"1, 140-160 pounds, dark complexion, wearing a brown knit rasta visor hat, striped shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers and possibly wearing dread locks.

Police said the suspect fled on foot down Germantown Avenue following the robbery toward Willow Grove Avenue, where he got into a car with another man driving.

Police recommend that if anyone spots this man, do not approach him, but call 911 immediately. Anyone ith information on his identity should contact Northwest Detective Division, Detective Powell #8123, at 215-686-3353.
