Police: Mom's Bake at Home Robbed Wednesday at Gunpoint

The same man is sought in connection with two other pizza shop robberies.

, 219 E. Willow Grove Ave., was robbed at gunpoint Aug. 3, according to police. The suspect in the robbery is wanted by police in two other pizza shop robberies, and police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the robber.

According to police, the man entered Mom’s at about 7 p.m. Aug. 3, and pointed a handgun at an employee, demanding money. The suspect headed west on Willow Grove Avenue on foot toward Germantown Avenue. Police said he escaped with about $190 cash.

The man was described as a black male, 5’10”, 170 pounds, with a dark complexion. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black ski mask, black pants and a blue shirt.

The man is wanted in connection to the July 29 in Mt. Airy and a July 31 robbery in the Cedarbrook area, police said. Anyone with information on the suspect should contact police at 215.686.TIPS (8477), or visit the Philadelphia Police website to submit a tip anonymously online.

The video to the right is surveillance footage of the Holiday Pizza robbery released by police in hopes that someone could identify the man in the ski mask.

Police recommend that no one approach the man, if they see him. Instead, they should immediately call 911.
