Police Blotter: Truck Stolen from West Southampton Avenue

The following information has been supplied by the 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Theft from auto … A resident of the 100 block of West Gravers Lane reported July 30, 5 p.m., that someone broke a right-side window on his car, and a GPS and an iPod, with a combined value of $300, were missing, police said.

Theft … A resident of the 100 block of West Evergreen Avenue reported July 30, 10 a.m., that a gold wedding band, valued at $675, was missing from his dresser drawer after he had hired a moving company, police said.

Auto theft … A resident reported July 27, 5 p.m., that he was parked on the unit block of West Southampton Avenue, and when he returned for his car, a 1989 block Chevy Silverado, with Pennsylvania registration plates YXM 2706, was gone, police said.

Burglary … A resident of the 700 block of Cornelia Place reported July 27, 7:05 p.m., that someone had entered his home through a sliding door in the kitchen and two laptops and some jewelry, with a combined value of $2,650, were missing, police said.

Theft … A resident of the 600 block of West Mermaid Lane reported July 26, 4:30 p.m., that someone had taken a Releigh blue 15-speed bicycle, valued at $500, out of his open garage, police said.
