Police Blotter: Thefts from Six Cars

Burglary … A resident of the 7800 block of Winston Road reported May 9, 10 a.m. that her apartment was broken into and more than $3,000 in electronics, jewelry and cash were missing, police said.

Burglary …  A resident of the 7800 block of Winston Road reported May 9, 8:30 a.m., that someone had broken into her apartment, but nothing appeared to be missing, police said.

Theft … A resident of the 500 block of West Mermaid Lane reported May 6, 5 p.m., that a wooden jewelry box, containing $15,000 in jewelry, was missing from a dresser in the rear bedroom of the house, police said.

Theft from auto … A man reported May 8, 6:15 a.m., that while he was parked on the unit block of Summit Street, someone took the tires and hubcaps off of his 2011 Honda Fit, police said.

Theft from auto … A man reported May 7, 4:50 p.m., that while he was parked on the 500 block of West Willow Grove Avenue, someone broke the left front window of his car, and a book bag with a laptop was taken, police said.

Theft from auto … A man reported May 5, 10 a.m., that while he was parked outside of the , someone entered his car and 2 credit cards were taken, police said.

Theft from auto …  A man reported May 8, 3 p.m., that while he was parked at the intersection of Bells Mill Road and Germantown Avenue someone broke a window on his car and a bag containing tools was missing, police said.

Theft from auto … A woman reported May 11, 5 p.m., that while she was parked on the 100 block of Northwestern Avenue, someone entered her car and took her wallet, with her license and $400 cash, police said.

Theft from auto … A woman reported May 12,  that while she was parked on the 7800 block of Cresheim Valley Drive, someone broke a window in her car and took her laptop, police said.
