Police Blotter: Thefts from Cars, A Porch and a Bank

The following information has been supplied by the 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Burglary … A resident of the 8400 block of Prospect Avenue reported Dec. 19, 3:30 p.m., that while he was out of town, his pet sitter discovered that a living room window was removed and the house had been rummaged through, police said. According to , the homeowner has not returned home to evaluate if items were missing.

Theft from auto … A woman reported Dec. 19, 10:15 a.m., that while she was parked on the unit block of Northwestern Avenue, someone entered her car and a phone charger, debit card and $100 cash were missing, police said.

Theft … A resident of the 200 block of East Meade Street reported Dec. 17, 7 p.m., that someone had taken a Brieax baby stroller, valued at $120, from her front porch, police said.

Theft …  A woman reported Dec. 15, 2:50 p.m., that while she was at , 8527 Germantown Ave., she left a bag with jewelry and $150 cash unattended for a few minutes and it was taken, police said.

Theft from auto … A woman reported Dec. 14, 4 p.m., that while she was parked on the 7800 block of Stenton Avenue, someone ransacked her car, although nothing appeared to be missing, police said.
