Police Blotter: Theft from Vehicle and Shoplifting

The following information has been supplied by the 14th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Theft from Vehicle...On Nov. 1 at 2:30 p.m., police received report that three credit cards were stolen from a Toyota 4 Runner that was parked in front of 120 Northwestern Avenue. One card was subsequently used in Wilmington, Delaware to make a purchase in the amount of $1,759 while another was used at a Macy's in New Jersey for $147, police said.

Retail Theft...On Nov. 11 at 7:53 p.m., police say a woman stole two items from the on 7700 Crittenden Street. The suspect, identified as a 50 plus year old woman, was seen by the store manager putting a makeup kit and a toenail clipping set in her purse. When police arrived they recovered the items.
