Police Blotter: Robbery, Theft and Burglaries
Each week, we will stop by the 14th District and gather the incidents reported in Chestnut Hill according to Philadelphia police.
Robbery … A resident of the 9100 block of Crefeld Street reported April 16, 9:33 p.m., that a group of about 20 teenagers forced their way into the house, breaking a window and a picture frame, along with other items, valued in total at about $2,000, police said.
Burglary … An employee of Kilian William Hardware Store, 8450 Germantown Avenue, reported April 15, 1:21 a.m., that someone had broken into the store, through the bottom of the front door, and taken $270 in cash from the registers, police said.
Burglary … A resident of the 8700 block of Prospect Avenue reported April 15, 2:19 p.m., that someone had taken a weed wacker and a leaf blower, valued at $150, from his garage, police said.

Burglary … A resident of the 7800 block of Stenton Avenue reported April 12, 12 p.m., that three collectible coins, a piece of jewelry and tax return paperwork was missing from her home, although there were no signs of forced entry, police said.
Theft … A resident of the 7600 block of Ardleigh Street reported April 14, 7 p.m., that she believes a relative took an Access card and a bottle of pills from her purse, police said.
