Police Blotter: iPod Robbery
Each week, we will stop by the 14th District and gather the incidents reported in Chestnut Hill according to Philadelphia police.
Robbery … A teenage boy reported April 11, 3:05 p.m., that while he was at McDonald’s, 7800 Germantown Ave., he was threatened by another teenager, who took an iPod Touch, valued at $200, out of his pocket, police said. According to police, the suspect was still at the scene when they arrived, and the victim identified the 16-year-old boy, who was arrested at the scene and the iPod was returned.
Burglary … The owner of Sears Landscape, 7725 Winston Road, reported April 6, 12 a.m., that several locks on the property had been cut, and $15,000 worth of tools and machines were missing, police said.
Theft from auto … A resident of the 100 block of West Willow Grove Avenue reported April 6, 5 p.m., that her purse was taken from her car, without forced entry, police said.
