Police Blotter: Burglary on East Mermaid Lane

Theft from auto ... A woman reported Oct. 6, 1:30 p.m., that while her car was parked at Valley Green Road and Wolcott Drive, the lock on her front door was broken and credit cards, ID, checkbooks and $700 cash was missing, .
Burglary ... A resident of the 200 block of East Mermaid Lane reported Oct. 6, 9:45 a.m., that someone had entered his home and more than $16,000 in electronics, jewelry and handbags was missing, police said.
