Theft from auto … A man reported May 15, 4:30 p.m., that while he was parked at Valley Green Inn, in Fairmount Park, the passenger-side window of his car was broken and a black leather wallet, with ID, credit cards and $30 in cash was taken, police said.

Assault … A man reported May 14, 1 a.m., that another man assaulted him by kicking and punching him in the head and chest while they were both at a birthday party on the 8000 block of Germantown Avenue, police said.

Theft … An employee of the Springside School, 8000 Cherokee Street, reported May 13, 2:30 p.m., that a Mac Book laptop was taken from his desk, while he was gone from the room, police said.
