Oven Stolen from Home in West Mt. Airy

Also in this week's police blotter, items were stolen from a home after the door was kicked in.

Burglary: On Feb 16, at approximately 4 p.m., Philadelphia police responded to the 1300 block of Narragansett Street for a report of a burglary.  According to police, the victim was checking on her property when she discovered the front door had been kicked in.  Police say that the living room had been ransacked and a Dell computer had been stolen.  Police took finger prints off of a ceramic piggy bank.

Auto Theft: On Feb. 19, at approximately 5 p.m., police received a report of an auto theft in the 1400 block of East Johnson Street.  According to police, the victim parked his vehicle in the driveway, and when he returned the vehicle was gone.

Burglary: On Feb. 20, at approximately 5 p.m. police received a report of a burglary in the 50 block of West Sharpnack Street.  According to police, the victim stated that sometime between Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. and Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. someone entered the property through the backdoor and stole an oven from the premises.
