More Copper Theft Reported in Northwest Philly

The following info is provided by the Philadelphia Police Department.

Three copper downspouts were reported stolen from a Mt. Airy home recently, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

According to reports, an unknown person removed three copper downspouts from a house on the 600 block of E Phil Ellena Street sometime before October 1 at 11:30 a.m. The downspouts are estimated to be valued at $75.

The is the most recent report of copper theft in the Northwest Philadelphia in the past few weeks. Over $10,000 in copper was reported stolen in Chestnut Hill in September.
