Man Shot in Foot During Robbery Attempt, Police Say

A man sustains a single gunshot wound during a robbery on Springer Street.

A man shot another man in the foot during a robbery attempt in the unit block of East Springer Street on June 2, police said.

The man told police that he was at the Five Star Chinese restaurant when a robber approached him and stated, “Give it up.”

The robber then fired his gun, striking the man in his right foot, police said.

The robber then fled the scene, police said.

A friend of the man took him to Germantown Hospital where he was later transferred to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition.
