Man Robbed at Gunpoint on Upsal, Police Say

A man is robbed while removing snow off his car.

Burglary: On March 8, at approximately 11:44 a.m., police received a report of a burglary in progress in the 6600 block of Magnolia Street.  According to police, burglars entered the premises through a front window and removed 40 feet of piping from the residence.

Theft: On March 8, at approximately 5:50 a.m. police received a report of a robbery in the 300 block of East Upsal Street.  According to police, a man was cleaning snow off of his car when he was approached by two men.  Police say that one of the men pointed a handgun at the victim while the second man went through his pockets.  According to police the men stole $140 in cash, a gold chain and a gold ring.
