Police from the 14th District will be delivering meals to needy families in the area.

While some police officers will be working to prevent crime on Christmas, others will be working to prevent hunger.

“We have one woman who was scammed out of her money through a case of fraud. She’s one of the people we will be delivering to,” Johns said.

The officers will be starting at 10:30 a.m. on Christmas Day delivering the meals to families in the area.
