Investigation Into Sexual Assault at Germantown High Ongoing

Police are looking into a potential rape that took place at Friday.

The incident took place at the school in the morning, according to police, and involved a male assaulting a female.

Special Victims Unit Capt. John Darby said the investigation is ongoing and said an arrest has not been made. The complainant and the assailant are both juveniles, according to police.

"All the parties are identified here," Darby said.

He said he couldn't get too specific because of the juveniles involved. The two, however, know one another.

Darby said police are working with the school district on the matter. An arrest could potentially come within the next few days, he said.
