Friends of the Wissahickon Offers Reward in April's Attack Near Valley Green

The award is offered for information leading to an arrest of the man who attacked a teenage girl in the park in April.

The Friends of the Wissahickon have assumed control of the Take Back the Wissahickon Fund. This fund was created by the Martin family as a reward fund for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the attacker in thenear the .

FOW will manage the fund at the request of the Martin family. If it is not dispersed as a reward within one year, the fund will revert to FOW’s unrestricted accounts and the money will be used to enhance safety in the park with improvements to such measures as wayfinding, enforcement, response access, lighting, and/or police presence.
