Burglars Strike Home on Bass Street, Police Say

A woman comes home from work to find her home ransacked.

A woman returned from work on April 30 to find her television and kindle stolen and her home in the 6700 block of Bass Street ransacked, police said.

The resident left her home at 5:30 a.m., and when she returned home, her back door had been forced open and several items, valued at $700, were missing, police said.

Police were able to take four fingerprints at the scene from a change jar in the bedroom, but anyone with more information is asked to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s 14th District at 215-686-3140.
