Arrest Made in Day Care Burglary, Police Say

A man is arrested for his role in an April 7 burglary.

Officers of the 14th Police District of Philadelphia have made an arrest in a burglary that occurred at 6110 Germantown Ave. on April 7.

According to police, surveillance footage showed a man forcing open the front door of the Kids Are Fit Day Care Center at 6:25 a.m..

Once inside, police say the man took a desktop computer and placed it in his shoulder bag.

Once he obtained the computer, the man fled south on Germantown Ave., police say.

Officers arrested the man on April 15, at 9 p.m.  Police found the man hiding in the third floor closet of his home.
