Another East Mt. Airy Teen Shot

An East Mt. Airy teen is shot outside his home late Monday night.

A 16-year-old Mt. Airy boy was shot twice in the chest outside of his home on Montana Street late Monday evening, Philadelphia Police say.

The shooting occured in the unit block of Montana Street at approximately 10:45 p.m., police say.

After the shooting, police say the boy was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was listed as in critical condition.

Police are still investigating the incident and asking anyone with information to please come forward.

This is the second Mt. Airy teen shot this week. Two juveniles were charged with the shooting on the 400 block of East Washington Lane.
