$50,000 in Valuables Reported Stolen in Burglary

The burglary was reported June 13.

A resident of the 400 block of West Chestnut Hill Avenue went into the 14th District police station June 13, 3 p.m., to report a burglary. The woman noticed that $50,000 in sterling silver items, watches and women's jewelry was missing from her home, police said.

The woman reported that the items went missing sometime in the last month, and there were no apparent signs of forced entry at her home, police said.
