$4,000 in Copper Pipe Reported Stolen

The following information is provided by the Philadelphia Police Department.

Roughly $4,000 in copper pipes were reported stolen from a for-sale home on the 300 block of East Mt. Airy Avenue, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

According to reports, a realtor company had sold the property on East Mt. Airy and was showing the property to the new owner on Oct. 24 when a man in his lat 30's entered the property with a key, intending to "show it to a reentry from Craigslist.org."

The complainant reported that the lock box with keys to the property had been stolen from the property, along with $4,000 in copper pipes from the house. Police arrested the man who arrived during the showing.

The is the most recent report of stolen copper pipes from the Northwest area in the past few months.

If you didn't learn it in school, or wherever you got your writing credentials, there is no such thing as a "realtor company" and apostrophes shouldn't be used to show possession. I'll be on the lookout this guy in his "lat 30's," he sounds pretty scary.
