$4,000 in Copper Pipe Reported Stolen

The following information is provided by the Philadelphia Police Department.

Roughly $4,000 in copper pipes were reported stolen from a for-sale home on the 300 block of East Mt. Airy Avenue, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

According to reports, a realtor company had sold the property on East Mt. Airy and was showing the property to the new owner on Oct. 24 when a man in his lat 30's entered the property with a key, intending to "show it to a reentry from Craigslist.org."

The complainant reported that the lock box with keys to the property had been stolen from the property, along with $4,000 in copper pipes from the house. Police arrested the man who arrived during the showing.
