Get Out: Diagon Alley Maze, Lost in Yonkers, Bridal Event

  • Why Go: Enjoy our local theater production of Lost in Yonkers.  A tale of two young teenage boys left in the care of their stone-hearted grandmother and gentle childlike aunt, in 1942 Yonkers.  This is considered Simon's best play.
  • Cost: Tickets: $17 Online / $20 at Door / Thurs 2-for-$25

  • When: Friday September 14 from 6pm - 8pm
  • Where:
  • Why Go: This is no ordinary straw maze.  This is a straw maze that has met Harry Potter.  Diagon Alley is a cobbled wizarding alley and shopping area located in London, England behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. Inside the alley is an assortment of shops where wands, charms, and all items on the Hogwarts supply list can be bought. Visitors to Woodmere’s Diagon Alley will find everything a wizard needs to cast spells.  There will be an art making area as well - this weekend they will be making wizard hats.  The opening celebration is free and the maze is open weekends until October 28.
  • Cost: FREE - tonight only!  If you visit between September 15 and October 28 there is a charge of ages 4–11 with adult $8 per child ($6 members); $20 for families of three or more ($18 members)

  • When: Saturday, September 15 from 1pm - 3pm
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Come listen to local author Dale Scannell read from three of his own works: Allison and Elle; Brian's Big Game; Can The Dogs Save Christmas?
  • Cost: FREE

  • Why Go: Everything you need to make your dream wedding happen will be at this bridal event.  There will be wedding experts and vendors from the Main Line and Philadelphia area.  Meet the vendors, taste the food and cake, watch a fashion show, win prizes and more.
  • Cost: Registered Brides are FREE, all others $10
