Buses to Run Along Chestnut Hill East Line Next Weekend

Track work will affect service Nov. 12 and 13.

Track maintenance work will mean passengers will need to be shuttled between Wayne Junction Station and Chestnut Hill East Station next weekend.

The work will affect the Chestnut Hill East line Nov. 12 and 13. Shuttle buses will be used to transport riders between the two stations.

People leaving for Chestnut Hill East will be able to pick up the buses at the normal times trains leave but should plan on adding 19 minutes or so to their commute, according to SEPTA. And passengers traveling from Center City can take a train to Wayne Junction but will have to board buses once they're there to continue northbound—SEPTA said they should plan on adding about 23 minutes to their commute time.
