A public prayer vigil by the Neighborhood Partners To End Gun Violence

Neighborhood Partners To End Gun Violence—a multi-denominational group of faith communities and civic organizations in Northwest Philadelphia—continues to hold vigils outside Delia’s Gun Shop on Torresdale Avenue, with which we have been working over a number of weeks in an effort to address the problem of straw purchasing. We will continue to demonstrate on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, rain or shine, as a living testimony to our faith and a living statement of the kind of discipleship that we feel our faith demands of us.  Our next vigils will take place on May 3 and May 17.  For more information, contact Linda Noonan at 215-242-9321 or visit http://www.heedinggodscall.org/
