The 12th Annual Empty Bowl Dinner will take place in Sorgenti Arena. The event, a collaborative effort between Chestnut Hill College and the Northwest Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network, is designed to benefit the NPIHN, which provides food and shelter to local homeless individuals and families. Schools, businesses and artisans donate the bowls while area eateries offer up food items to fill them. College students take the role of servers. Last year, more than $10,000 was raised during the event. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students and children.
