The 'Old Rose' Workshop Series with Elizabeth Belk

The Wyck 'Old Rose' Workshop series returns in 2014 with two new workshops! 

Join Wyck's Horticulturalist, Elizabeth Belk as she teaches this seven workshop series throughout the year. 

Heritage roses are easier to grow than you might think, organically and without toxic sprays. However, there are lessons worth learning to ensure your roses reach their full potential throughout the year. Wyck’s Old Rose Workshop Series is designed to shepherd you through a year in the life of your old rose, ensuring that you enjoy the flowers of your labor.

July 12 | Summer Pruning for Form

Choice of any 5 workshops:

Non-members | $250

Individual Workshops:

Instructor: Elizabeth Belk, Horticulturist & Landscape Manager at Wyck Historic House, Garden, and Farm, is responsible for the care and propagation of the historic Wyck roses.  She is a graduate of the Arboretum School of the Barnes Foundation and also holds a Master’s degree in teaching from Columbia University.  She is an accomplished cook and delights in teaching people how to get the most out of their roses.  Elizabeth will once again be presenting at the 2014 Philadelphia Flower Show. Join her in the Gardeners Studio on Friday, March 7, 2014.
