November is Planting Month at the Friends of the Wissahickon. Join FOW at Kitchens Lane on Saturday, November 2, 2013, from 9 am - 1 pm. Volunteers will remove invasive plants near the site of recently completed trail work at Kitchens Lane. This will be paired with a planting of native trees and plants.

To register, contact FOW Volunteer Coordinator Eric Falk at falk@fow.org. Registration is not required but is recommended in order to be notified in case of any changes due to weather. Workdays will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or snow. Visit FOW's Facebook page or
