"Music at the Meetinghouse" Presents Third Thursdays hosted by Dawn Hiatt

Live & local music presented on Third Thursdays in this historic 1770 Germantown Mennonite Meetinghouse!

Join neighbors and friends for a casual evening of music in Historic Germantown, hosted by local alt-country singer-songwriter Dawn Hiatt (www.dawnhiattmusic.com).  February's Featured Artists are Anne Johnson & L. T. Woody.

L.T. Woody is a native of the mean streets of Harlem Park on the west side of Baltimore, MD. As a singer-songwriter, he is a man who appreciates a good melody and strong rhythm (Motown meets Alt-Rock). Over the years, Woody has performed in NYC, Baltimore and Philadelphia (where he now resides). Woody is also the author of the well regarded memoir, In Black In White (available on amazon.com).

Anne Johnson recorded her first album, “Put the Sun Back in the Sky,” in 2009 - a mix of vintage pop from the early 1900’s through the 60’s - and has sung back up and lead vocals with "Tom Gala and the Terraplanes" since 2001.  Anne will cover songs of Lucinda Williams, Stevie Nicks, The Beatles, Patti Smith, Leonard Cohen, Diana Jones as well as originals and will accompany herself on guitar.
