"Mr. President, I am Frederick Douglass"

An historic  meeting ... An original play

The Chestnut Hill Center for Enrichment is proud to present Georgina Bard and Richard Hadley's one-act theatrical rendering of the very first meeting in 1863, of two men who shaped the course of history....Abraham Lincoln,16th president of the United States, and Frederick Douglass, former slave and eloquent abolitionist. Starring Lawrence Geller, Maurice Tucker and   Adrianna Matthews.

At the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill (next door to Chestnut Hill Hospital). The 30-minuteplay begins at 1:30, and will be followed by refreshments, discussion, and a question:answer, with the actors.
