Irish Music Concert

The Philadelphia Ceili Group will host a concert by a world-renowned group of Irish musicians at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 15. Heading the list of performers will be Mick Moloney, an internationally known musician and recipient of a National Heritage Award who has delighted audiences around the world with his renditions of Irish songs and instrumental pieces of traditional music on banjo, guitar and mandolin. He will be joined by All-Ireland Champion Billy McComiskey on accordion and "Riverdance" star Athena Tergis on Fiddle. Also appearing -- and making her American debut -- will be Michelle Mulcahy, winner of All-Ireland Championships on the harp, accordion and concertina, and one of Ireland's most skilled and creative harpers. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for Ceili Group members.
