Good Mornin' Music!

Good Mornin’ Music! (GMM!) is the newest program of Commonwealth Youthchoirs, offering children the opportunity to discover and explore the joy of singing, movement, and playing instruments.

GMM! is for children in PreK through 2nd/3rd grade giving them the opportunity to joyfully discover and explore music making with their voices as well as with classroom percussion instruments. GMM! is a non-performance based experience that focuses on musical journey rather than destination. At the same time, the program, in a way that is both fun and pedagogically-sound, lays the foundation for future CY performance-based choral opportunities should a child wish to pursue them.

GMM! offers a wide variety of singing, moving and playing activities that will keep children engaged for a 45-minute period. The Director Mary Comtois is a certified veteran music educator who specializes in early childhood music education.
