Free Film Series Continues at UU
Church of the Restoration



Continuing
in April, the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration will present a
series of films featuring some of the great battles for justice and equality in
American history. These films will be shown on 2nd and 4th
Wednesdays, beginning at 6:00 PM.

” --- A history of non-violent action in the 20th
Century, featuring Mahatma Gandhi in India, the lunch counter sit-ins in the US,
and the South African fight against apartheid.

Fighting
Back” and “Our Schools are not for Sale
” --- A view from the front lines of the
fight to integrate Little Rock, Arkansas’s 
Central High School from the “Eyes on the Prize Series”. And, a short
film on Philadelphia’s teachers, parents, students, and communities who are
fighting for public schools.



Restoration
Church is located at 6900 Stenton Avenue (corner Gorgas Lane) in Philadelphia,
PA. Admission is free and refreshments
will be served prior to the movies.
