Five Fridays: Piano Trio at Saint Paul's

The third concert in this season’s FIVE FRIDAYS benefit concert series will take place at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chestnut Hill, on Friday February 1st at 7:30pm.  Three rising stars of the classical music scene will present a program for violin, cello and piano that includes works by Beethoven, Smetana, and Ravel.
Kristin Lee (violin), Lionel Cottet (cello), and Michael Mizrahi (piano) are among the talent on the glittering roster of Astral Artists, a Philadelphia-based non-profit organization whose mission is to discover and present to the public young musicians early in their professional careers. Each of the three has received the highest level of musical training and has already performed on the national stage and at international venues and festivals.
The FIVE FRIDAYS concert series is in its second season at Saint Paul’s.  This concert will take place in the Parish Hall at Saint Paul’s while renovations are underway in the sanctuary, and will be followed by a reception at which guests may greet the artists.
All proceeds from the series will be directed towards Face to Face Germantown and the Interfaith Hospitality Network, two local organizations that work to alleviate hunger and homelessness.
