Annual Creek Clean Up and Talkin' Trash Picnic!

Annual Creek Clean-up at the newly acquired Wissahickon East Parcel. A collaborative effort with WVWA and the Wissahickon East Project (WEP). We will be joining forces to brighten up the newest addition to the Wissahickon Park which includes a very important tributary that flows into the Wissahickon. A much needed day of fun in the sun!

Following the clean up the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association (WVWA) and the Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) invite all of the participants to join us at the “Talkin’ Trash” picnic to satisfy appetites and share stories at Fort Washington State Park from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Flourtown pavilion on Mill Road.

To register for any of our work days, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Eric D. Falk at falk@fow.org.  Volunteers are encouraged to bike, hike or carpool to work days.  Registration is not required but is recommended in order to be notified in case of any changes due to weather.  Workdays will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or snow. Refer to the FOW Facebook page or the FOW work day page for updates.
