More Heat Expected Wednesday and Thursday

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for June 8 and 9.

It's going to get hot again, according to the National Weather Service. An excessive heat warning has been issed that will begin Wednesday afternoon and is expected to last through Thursday.

"A very hot and humid airmass will cause temperatures to swell into the mid-90s, creating dangerous conditions," the NWS alert said.

Heat index values will be between 95 and 100 degrees on Wednesday and will likely hover around 100 degrees throughout Thursday, according to the weather service.
