There is no better way to stretch out the deep winter freeze from your bones than a calming, nourishing yoga class. Whether you like early morning practices or are looking for a way to unwind after work, you can drop into one of the numerous yoga studios in the area, mat in hand, and have a great practice. Here are just a few of the nearby yoga classes waiting for you.

Sanctuary up on the Avenue is more than just a yoga studio. This full-service yoga store offers a number of yoga and meditative books and CDs, a wide range of name-brand and versatile practice clothes and accessories, meditation supplies and beautiful, calming jewelry. Chestnut Hill Yoga has a diverse mix of yoga classes for everyone in the family, from kids’ classes to men’s yoga. Take a beginner’s basic class or expand on one of the several practices offered that you are familiar with, from a restorative practice to a yoga strength class.  And, according to the website, the studio is currently offering a free class with the purchase of a practice package.

3. Twisters Yoga
