SEPTA said this morning that service on its Chestnut Hill West (R8) line will resume, beginning with Train #8230. The line will still experience residual delays.

SEPTA made the announcement just after 7 a.m. Thursday morning, that service would be suspended on the line. It said via its Twitter account that service was initially running 20 minutes behind schedule due to overhead wire problems but later said that service was suspended.

No delays are being reported on the Chestnut Hill East (R7) line, which also runs through Mt. Airy.
