Chestnut Hill Lines to Keep Current Schedules; Others Change

Some lines are experiencing low ridership.

Chestnut Hill East and West SEPTA schedules will remain the same throughout the December even as others change.

Train service on the Lansdale/Doylestown and Media/Elwyn lines has been reduced, and trains on the Manayunk/Norristown line will soon be leaving earlier than they had previously been departing.

Those changes go into effect Dec. 18.

Lines where service has been reduced are not seeing the ridership that they once were, according to SEPTA, so certain weekend stops have been discontinued.

SEPTA hasn't determined that ridership is low enough to change the Chestnut Hill East and West schedules. So they will remain the same for now.
