It broke out on Facebook, Twitter and even Radnor Patch Thursday night— that one of the suspects in Monday's Boston Marathon bombing looked like missing Radnor High School alum Sunil Tripathi. However, the unconfirmed reports and speculation were wrong and Tripathi remains missing.

2 Local Runners Escape Boston Marathon Blasts

Amy Gleason and Allison Zimmerman had just crossed the finished line.

Then minutes later, two bombs went off, and the two Forks Township women and their families were running for safety.

"It feels like the marathon was 10 years ago now," Gleason said during a phone interview from her Boston hotel room.

Local Family Escapes Injury in Boston Marathon Explosion

A Middletown Township woman was congratulated by her husband and 6-year-old daughter minutes after finishing the Boston Marathon when they heard a loud noise that sounded like thunder from about two blocks away.

"We heard this horrible noise and I thought it was thunder for a second but then again there wasn't a cloud in the sky," Boston Marathon runner Gina Barusevicius, of Media, said.

Amtrak Train Kills Pedestrian in Bristol

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Northeast Regional Amtrak train heading south on Wednesday, according to an Amtrak official.

The accident occurred around 6 p.m. nine miles West of Trenton close to the Bristol station, according to Craig Schulz, an Amtrak Media Relations spokesman.

Pa. Attorney General Kathleen Kane says narcotics agents have shut down a drug ring that distributed crystal meth from Mexico throughout the Lehigh Valley. Twenty-three alleged traffickers were arrested.

Armed Police Could be Added to Schools

Scripps Heir Convicted for Embezzling Millions from Family

An heir to the Scripps media fortune was convicted last week by a federal jury in Philadelphia for embezzling $3.6 million from members of his family to fund his lavish lifestyle, according to New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.

Michael Scripps, 36, of Detroit, was convicted of seven counts of wire fraud.
