Wingstop Opening in Mt. Airy

The restaurant will open at the old post office on Germantown Avenue.

Mt.Airy is getting a new chicken wing restaurant.

Wingstop, a Texas-based chicken restaurant announced that it will be opening two locations in Philadelphia, including one in Mt. Airy, in "early 2013," according to a release from the company.

The restaurant will be opening at 6700 Germantown Avenue, in the former U.S. Post Office building in West Mt. Airy.

Philadelphia native Richard Johnson of Jomartt Enterprises, L.P. Johnson signed a multi-unit development agreement earlier this year for eight new restaurants in the area, the release states.
