Fall for the Arts Festival in Chestnut Hill

- Why Go:
Enjoy a day of fine arts and crafts, live entertainment on two stages, exhibits, and children’s rides and activities between the 8000 and 8600 blocks of Germantown Avenue. Visitors can stroll the Avenue to view and purchase fine arts and crafts, enjoy live music or dine al fresco. Children can create their own works of art in sand or wood or choose a favorite ride in a special amusement park.

Ghost Tours of Chestnut Hill

- Why Go:
Take a 90-minute guided group tour along the Avenue that's full of scary stories, tall tales, and paranormal happenings.

$10 adults, $7 children.

High Point Sunday Market
- Where/When:

- Why Go:
Celebrate local crafts and urban farmers in the first weekly summer street fair in Mt. Airy. There will also be live music and an open mic.

“Beauty is a Verb” Reading

The anthology is intended to bring fresh understanding to the American exerience of poetry, beauty, the body and disability. The event is hosted by local resident Minter Krotzer and will feature selections from authors in the anthology.
