Come see unique interpretations of cityscapes featuring new gallery artists Patrick Casher and Anthony Ferrara and new works by water colorist Susannah Hart Thomer and others.

Summer Patio Party at Bredenbeck’s Bakery and Ice Cream Parlor
- Where/When:
, 8126 Germantown Ave., on Friday at 6 p.m.
- Why Go:
Party on the new patio with free mini-smoothies, oatmeal cookiewiches (made with frozen yogurt), music, balloon art and more.
- Pricing:

Moonlight Movies at
- Where/When:
Lovett library branch, 6945 Germantown Ave. (in the garden), on Friday from 8:30 to 11 p.m. Seating on the green begins at 8 p.m.
- Why Go:
See The Princess Bride in a summer outdoor setting. Provide your own folding chairs and blankets. The will be vending some snacks and will donate a percentage to the library.
- Pricing:

A Day of Story and Song, presented by Spiral Bookcase
- Where/When:
Pretzel Park, 4300 Silverwood St. (rain location is The Grape Room), on Saturday from noon to 7 p.m.
- Why Go:
Come celebrate our local authors and musicians with a day of story and song. Meet local authors and walk away with signed copies of their books.
- Pricing:

Kayak Tours on the Schuykill River
- Where/When:
Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant, 4120 Main St., on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Why Go:
Discover a new view of Philadelphia. River adventures include instruction, equipment rental, a guided tour and a meal at the Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant.

10 a.m. tour is $65 per person and includes brunch; 1 p.m. tour is $55 per person and includes lunch.
