Weavers Way Looking for Directors

Members "in good standing" could win a seat on the co-op's board of directors.

If you were looking for a way to have more influence over what the Weavers Way Co-op is doing in Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy, your chance is here.

The co-op is in the process of holding elections for a seat on the board of directors. According to a statement from Weavers Way, "members in good standing are eligible to be a part of figuring out what the will of the membership is and then to guide and lead management to implement that will."

An informational meeting, including obligations and qualifications tied to being on the board, is being held at 555 Carpenter Lane on Jan 23 at 7 p.m. To RSVP for the meeting, contact David Woo at @woo3d@earthlink.net.
