Hymie’s Deli 342 Montgomery Avenue Merion, PA 19066

This fantastic deli offers delicious sandwiches, salads, mile high cakes and the best cabbage soup around. In addition, there is a half size version of the beloved corned beef special. Click for the review.

Locally sourced ingredients and casual friendly service make this place better than other coffeehouses. The beans are Counter Culture and there are plenty of to-go items. It’s definitely one of my favorites in the area. Click for the review.

A surprisingly good BYOB situated along a busy stretch of road in Havertown, this place has a seasonal menu of riffs on your favorites and completely unique dishes as well. Click for the review.

A dyed in the wool chef who actually likes hot dogs and peanut butter. Don’t worry, his palate is otherwise excellent as is his training. Click for the Meet the Chef.

A confident, energetic, business-degreed mother of two kids with a decade in the hospitality business switched from fruit flowers to actual flour when she took over this kosher bakery in Narberth. Click to find out more about the Chef/Owner.

Delicious coffee, sandwiches, panini and your favorite magazines are all available at this neighborhood café. Friendly service and attention to detail will keep you coming back. Click for the review.

The owner of Frak’s Steaks has been in professional kitchens since the time he was 14, which should come as no surprise as both sides of his family were into food. Apparently his great grandmother’s pierogies are some of the greatest things on earth. Click for the Meet the Chef.

Stick with classics like escargot, frisee salad and excellent scallops. Be aware that though the restaurant is hard to find, the service is excellent. Click for the review.
