Ready-Made Thanksgiving Meals and Other Thanksgiving Deals

Throughout Chestnut Hill, there are a number of options to lighten the load of Holiday cooking.

Not everyone has the time, or the culinary skills, to pull off a Thanksgiving dinner. For those who fall into either category, Chestnut Hill has several options to make your Turkey Day cooking a little lighter.

You can purchase a turkey online from the co-op by clicking here. Esbenshade’s all natural local turkeys and Empire kosher turkeys will be available for pre-order, but they need to be picked up sometime either on Nov. 22 or 23. The prepared food section will have a number of other Thanksgiving staples throughout the next week.

Pre-cooked turkeys are available for $49.99, although they still have to be re-heated for about an hour. There is no deadline for the pre-cooked turkeys, but are only available as supplies last. The store is also running a special that could score you a free non-cooked turkey. For every $250 a customer spends, they can receive a coupon for 5 percent off their next purchase or a coupon for a free turkey.

Valley Green Inn: The Wissahickon mainstay is offering a Thanksgiving buffet from 12 to 7 p.m on Thanksgiving Thursday. It is $36.95 for adults and $14.95 for children ages three to 10. According to its website, the buffet will feature traditional turkey, herb roasted prime rib and smoked country ham with lavender honey glaze. Thanksgiving staples such as stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie will also be a part of the feast. To see the full menu, click here.

: The restaurant that remembers every holiday didn't forget Thanksgiving. You can buy a holiday dinner for $14.95 per person that includes stuffing, gravy and two sides. The diner is also offering full-blown Thanksgiving catering, which you can take advantage of by calling 215-753-1500.

Can't believe the list doesn't include Drake's Goumet Foods!! Right across the street from Weaver's Way, and has some of the most delicious ready-to-heat and serve food around!
