Not everyone has the time, or the culinary skills, to pull off a Thanksgiving dinner. For those who fall into either category, Chestnut Hill has several options to make your Turkey Day cooking a little lighter.

Esbenshade’s all natural local turkeys and Empire kosher turkeys will be available for pre-order, but they need to be picked up sometime either on Nov. 22 or 23. The prepared food section will have a number of other Thanksgiving staples throughout the next week.
Pre-cooked turkeys are available for $49.99, although they still have to be re-heated for about an hour. There is no deadline for the pre-cooked turkeys, but are only available as supplies last. The store is also running a special that could score you a free non-cooked turkey. For every $250 a customer spends, they can receive a coupon for 5 percent off their next purchase or a coupon for a free turkey.
Valley Green Inn: The Wissahickon mainstay is offering a Thanksgiving buffet from 12 to 7 p.m on Thanksgiving Thursday. It is $36.95 for adults and $14.95 for children ages three to 10. According to its website, the buffet will feature traditional turkey, herb roasted prime rib and smoked country ham with lavender honey glaze. Thanksgiving staples such as stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie will also be a part of the feast. To see the full menu, click here.
