New Restaurant to Fill Melting Pot Location

Chestnut Hill chef and restauranter Al Paris will open two new eateries in the Chestnut Hill Hotel.

Al Paris, owner of Heirloom, will open a new restaurant and bar in the upstairs section of the Chestnut Hill Hotel, and he will also be opening a jazz café downstairs in the part of the hotel formerly occupied by The Melting Pot.

Philly.com reports that new Parisian themed restaurant will open upstairs in late Spring of 2013.

“It’s just more proof that Chestnut Hill is doing extremely well,” said Laurie Wightman, Chestnut Hill’s retail recruiter.  “This area is vibrant and flourishing.
